Mike, sorry to push you. Am dying to know your views on this most wonderful amp. IMHO it is so warm and musical that it has actually biased my music towards Jazz, Classical, Afrobeat, Soul, Blues etc, and slightly away from rock and electro. It does rock and electro well, but it has helped me discover other genres.

The amp is incredible and coasts along regardless of what speakers we try it with. However, this amp changes like no other depending on the power cables and speaker cables and IC’s you use, but especially the power cables. The AQ Firebird and Dragon lit this baby up like putting rocket fuel in the engine. We are still experimenting with IC’s and speaker cables.

I’m not sure how much more I can add. It’s currently running with two Dragon power cords and sounds incredible. It has dynamics when needed. It has a big big sense of ease and depth to it. It has a more relaxed sound than the Mephisto, but more dynamic than the Colosseum. It truly is the best of both worlds. I truly believe it needs the Pandora Preamp to reach it’s full potential.

Well, if it were possible, that YouTube comparison with Essence and a great orchestral mass, it would be fabulous. :)
