Hi fellow Audioshark members,

My name is Al, and I'm an addict;)

I look forward to participating here and enjoying free discourse with my fellow addicts.

If required to describe my addiction I'd have to label myself as a music lover/gearhead as opposed to an audiophile because of the various misconceptions linked to that term :lol:

I live in Palisade Colorado, right at the foot of the Grand Mesa. Been there for over thirty years.

Beautiful spot there, Palisade. We were just thru your area camping at Vega Lake and then went on up over the Grand Mesa at Powderhorn down into Delta.

I live in Avon.

I see that you live a not-so-distant drive east on I-70. Perhaps we'll be able to visit each other and check out our respective systems someday.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the welcome. I received my undergrad degree at CU Boulder about four decades ago. We often visit Boulder as a few friends from school still live there. The town has really grown a lot, and so has the cost of living. I always enjoy our visits, but prefer the more laid-back lifestyle found on the Western Slope. And yes, there are fantastic sunsets to be enjoyed from the top of the Mesa. Pretty decent hunting and fishing too :D
