Gobel Divin Monarque

It is disappointing that a thread about a new SOTA contender loudspeaker can't happen because of some persons issues and insecurities.
The Monarque's are playing and the initial reports from the owner and his guests have been really special. Oliver and I are going to visit and do the set up, along with Gary Leeds from Trafomatic at the end of the month. This gives the gear some playtime and it also has to fit into the logistics of everyone's schedule. Oliver is coming from Germany and so that is the primary first schedule choice. I am very much looking forward to working with the system and I have been to the owners room before and it is excellent.

I can assure you that there were absolutely no issues or insecurities about this speaker on my part, however, I cannot speak for others here…as can be seen by their various replies!

The "Ignore" button is a beautiful thing.

My Duelund CAST Sn-Cu 100v 3.9uF and 12uF caps might be here later this week / early next week. I put a lot of money where my mouth is on that stuff. If you remember to, ask Oliver about them. I find it really impressive that he went to that level of expense on those parts. Each one of those caps has a comma in the price. Their inductors look the same, and the big ones each have a comma too.

I'll post some good pictures of them... they are very special things. That level of quality in these speakers is noteworthy.

Don't let anyone / noise steal your Joy. There are some people who just can't help but ooze venom...

I just DELETE them. They are like a bug my wife calls me to take care of... a blip soon flushed, and forgotten.

Jim,
I am going to do my thing and to help my client get the best possible result. Oliver and I want the system to be as good as we can make it and that Mike gets thousands of hours of enjoyment from his purchase and our assistance in set up.
I hope we can push it as far as humanly possible
