Get together at Bob's Rhapsody

I'm hoping to be there, too. Work is crazy, so not 100% sure.

I do work in the city so if I have to work I might be able to squeeze away for a few hours! Here's hoping!

Allen, I don't care how crazy work is, you have to come by even if for a little while!!!!!!!!

Doing my suitcase right now
So excited !!!!

Nelson, with the prices on those albums it might be an even trade:) I know you bringing those albums is going to end up costing me $$$, as once I hear them, especially the Flamenco Fever, I am going to have to have it and will be dishing out the $$$ to get a copy. But then like you said you have sold lot's of systems with that album, so in the long run it will end up being an investment......boy am I good at rationalizing spending $$$:woot:

I bet that day everybody will be getting to try to get a copy on eBay, if they find it.
Is so realistic you could feel the dancer in front of you, FOR REAL !!!

Steve - your Manley amps and C1.1's would be excellent.
I'm hoping so. Sounds perfect to me. Lol.

I'm real excited to listen to some other things that I never heard.
I'm so stuck in a music rut, I need to expand my vinyl library.
I been listening to the same stuff since the 70's. I've expanded to more acoustic music and folk and female vocals and some jazz, but I need more.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I met Bob last Sunday at Rhapsody for the first time and you folks are in for a great time. I was visiting NYC for the weekend and I wanted to hear the Raidho D3's paired with the Absolare Passion preamp and amplifiers. I am fortunate enough to own the Absolare Passion Signature preamplifier and I have heard the Absolare amplifiers before but I had not heard any Raidho speaker before.

Bob is a great host and we had a great time. He has made some changes in the system setup since I had heard it and he tells me it sounds even better so you are in a for a real treat. Hopefully I will get up to NYC again soon to hear the setup again. Have a great time!

Nelson, you can read me just like transparent water.

You coming Bob? You get that dog team started now and head due east, you'll get there by Tuesday .lmao!!!!!
Sorry the whole igloo thing still makes me laugh!!!

If we can afford to have a good system , I think we can
spend some dollars to get together once a year, right?
And what better way to start for the first time in the best
Place , RHAPSODY NYC

:D

Steve, how far away are you exactly meeting from where I'm at right now?

Too bad that teleportation (teletransportation) is not yet invented.

But it's ok, you guys will share your overall impressions with the rest of us. :)
And we're there with you in spirit & heart.

P.S. My igloo feels cozy and entertaining. :D

It's really really far. Lol!!
I will take pics, mostly of equipment and combinations we hear.
And will share with all. Of course the old iPhone camera isn't all that great.

I also agree with Nelson and that we do this every year . If We don't annoy Bob . Lol. Probably should schedule it sometime around the ny audio show. I can't go to rmaf , although I should I have a free place to stay. I've never went to an audio show , so the ny show this year is a definite for me.
