CES news 2014

Boy Leo Yeh must have a great camera in addition to a great eye for photography. Thnx again for such great images.

Nick

I agree, marvelous shots and has a great eye for sure. It's allot of work in general navigating ones way threw out all of these rooms to be effective, never mind providing such end results in such a short time frame. :) Two thumbs up to anyone who does this, I know I really appreciate and never get tired of viewing. :) Thank You!

He's got few. ...A Canon EOS among them. ...And he's a professional (audio journalist/photographer).

Serious cabling. ...Do you notice something quite peculiar?

IMG_8613ss.jpg

Gotta love seeing the external cross overs exposed, allot of Stealth Audio cabling. Those speaker cables are their latest called Dream Royale's. I received mine a few months ago, huge in diameter in comparison to my original dreams see attached pic showing the two side by side. Nice looking Vac Statement 450 mono blocks too - I like mine better ;)

hope it sounds good. To my eye it looks awkward and cartoonish. Something Wile E. Coyote would b blown off the edge of a cliff with by the Roadrunner.
IMHO
Nick

I saw it in person at CES. A real piece of art. Massive. Most people around me were speechless.
Difficult to build an opinion based on a pic.

Thanks Nick.
Looks like you guys are having fun.

Yes, I only know Mike by phone
So I guess you couldn't go there either Norman? Same here. For this year I've put my cards on the High-End in Munich. It is in my agenda, flights and hotel are booked!
Are you going to go Norman?
Would be great to meet some of the Sharks...
Who is planning to go?

Maybe. I have not planned that far ahead yet. I usually have work obligations around that time. I guess i could even drive, but it would be a distance…maybe 8 hours?
The sure one for me in 2014 is Montreux. Not even sure about Zurich.

Vegas was great this year because of all the new debuts of products and manufacturers.

Dunno, but they look interesting. Curiousity peaked!!!

Well, they have the exact same shape as my Linaeum Ribbon Dipole (Omni) tweeters - soooo, they got to be.

* As for the unusual setup: The small tower speakers are facing each other (ain't their final position though; and them ribbon tweeters are not part of their design - they are simply resting on their tops).
