I just checked this out...fantastic! I have not come across Lightnin' Hopkins albums that were not scratchy. thanks to you...I went to analogue productions and found the 3 on SACD. unfortunately, they are coming out this year and no announcement as to when. I am wondering whether I should get the 'regular CDs' from Amazon or wait? hmmmm...

Yes, it is a fantastic album.
If the difference between regular CD and SACD is the same between regular vinyl and 45rpm, I would get the SACD.
This vinyl pressing 45rpm re-issue by Analogue Productions is amazing.

Thanks...don't need much more encouragement than that! I have enjoyed all of the APO's I have bought so far. I not only got Lightnin'...I also got Goin' Away and Soul Blues from APO at the same time! I listened to each of them (regular mp3) on Amazon...and was amazed after all these years to hear 3 really great, CLEAR albums. Cannot wait to hear them from APO at home! Thanks for pointing the way!
Thanks. I'll check that out!The SACDs are better. But the CDs have nothing to be ashamed of. And APO is a great Blues music record label. ...Now we're talking; Blues baby, right on!
* Lightnin' Hopkins - check him too on Audio Fidelity record label (Hybrid SACD).
So I ordered all 3 Lightnin Hopins remasters on sacd from APO...but they cannot tell me when they will be out?! Disappointing!
