Muddy Waters, "Folk Singer"
A fierce studio recording of the blues master from 1963, and Waters sounds incredibly present and vital; no wonder "Folk Singer" is an audiophile classic.
Vlatko Stefanovski & Miroslav Tadic, "Krushevo"
Two masters of the acoustic guitar, performing duets in a huge acoustic space, the Makedonium Monument, in Krushevo, Macedonia. These two speed demons astonish with their fleet fingerings. The sound is pure and crystal clear.
In case we missed it, FOLK SINGER by Muddy Waters is the Audiophile recording to own. Brilliant for testing your new gear but also very enjoyable, classical Muddy at his prime.
Also featured in the list by Steve Guttenberg (Cnet).
In the audiophile referent SQ albums is one from my country Macedonia.

I have the actual CD and the sound on it through a pair of QUAD ESLs was mind blowing.
Recommended to buy for anyone with Hi-End speakers. :audiophile:
