Best SET (300B, 845)?

What can I say? I simply love my Absolare Altius 845 SET amps. I can't imagine, any other SET amps with a better performance/sound than this! They have everything I always dreamed about. The most natural and organic sound with an impressive soundstage....... etc, etc.
 
No doubt the Absolare 845 are beautiful looking and sounding PSET. I just heard the Thoress 845 in my system and they were spectacular and dead silent, then heard Border Patrol for the first time at Capital Aduio Fest this past weekend and I was very impressed with their PSET 300B's. Definitely some good work going on out there!
 
After owning this SET amp for a while It still amazes me every day with sounds and looks. :)

I believe they've been on demo at the last few RMAF and THE Newport Beach shows
 
Rob, I may do the shows one year, bit of a paddle across the ditch though.

Yes, indeed, he is a great photographer, he was gracious enough to provide me the photo after purchase.
 
Is Chalice Audio, the amp noted above in the PF link, no longer around? The link to their site and a Google search seems to imply that the company isn't around anymore?

Correct. The company is no longer a company so to speak. However, the lead designer, who is an engineer by day, still designs amps upon request....
