Certainly not when it comes to Lampizator. I am so smitten, I can't believe it. Bruce's Big 7 transformed his system, just like mine. If you dip your toes in the Lampizator pool, be prepared to lose sleep. :D

I held off as long as possible. I believed you in the beginning, but didn't feel comfortable at the time. Now I can't get enough. This gear is life changing. It's like getting hooked on a drug that has no bad side effects except a thinner wallet. Otherwise, life is great.

Hi Joe,

No Lampizator Big 7 or GG for me until sometime next year. By then, I feel some of the choices will have become more clear. I do expect to have one in my listening room sooner or later. I have never heard audiophiles whose opinions I trust be so effusive over a digital source.

No, still waiting. Almost 7 months and I'd be lucky to see it before September. Ordered the second week in January, I know of 3 other friends waiting and getting no help from Berkeley. It's very frustrating to say the least.

Maybe you'll hear Bruce's system and understand all the fuss. I felt is was time to jump in. I am so happy that I did.

sounds like you are extremely happy with the Lampi. Just spoke with Mark (MDP) earlier today. We are both very curious about the GG.

I'm not buying into this, not one mention of at least one thing wrong :D :fingers: Could it be Lukasz has indeed done it good?
 
Based on the bump in performance individuals are gaining from the balanced Big 7 vs. the SE Big 7, I'm starting to wonder if the balanced Big 7 might outperform the SE Golden Gate. Any thoughts?
