Mike, It's difficult to tell from the photo. It looks as if they are powering the 101e MKII's with lower level Corona line of gear and not the Noble or Reference (9007, 9008, 9011). They still sounded that good?

My favorite so far is the Tidal room. The Von Schweikert / VAC room is outstanding too. The Bergmann / Avant-garde system might be the most emotionally engaging.

Jim, they're actually their new amps. These were beta versions.

Spent a few hours at AXPONA today. It was nice to finally meet Mike. As I mentioned to him, I heard Magico's for the first time today. The S3 Mark II's were among the best sound I heard today. The S1's were great but the S3's just took the entire soundstage up a few notches.

I also really enjoyed the Wilson Benesch Discovery II's and the Gamut RS3i monitors, each of which retail north of $20,000. Andrew Jones' new Elac monitors, the Adante's, also sounded phenomenal, particularly for the price.

Finally, I enjoyed meeting Ken Stevens of Convergent Audio. His tube amps looked fabulous!
