The Soulution room with the Piego speakers was also excellent. I was in there three separate times. A very clean and transparent sound. Neutral in the treble. So many speakers were bright or edgy in the treble, too many to count!

Can you clarify if its Piego or Piega? If Peiga, which model - Master Line Source 2 or the Coax 711? Thanks.

My choice for best sounding room would be the vinyl only Wilson - Benesch room (638), powered by Ypsilon electronics (and their phono-stage), using a high-end Thales turntable for its only source. Honourable mention I would give to the Briscati room, which had Tidal speakers and careful room treatment.

Can't avoid the impression of a manufacturer being here somewhat thin in terms of competitive edge to resort to such statements.

I think it simply speaks more to the character of the exhibitor than anything else. That said, I'm sure there were those in attendance who saw the sign and thought "Fu** yeah!"
