Nope. None of that stuff is allowed within 100 miles of my ears. I find xmas noise (it certainly is not music in my opinion) is harmful. It actually not only makes my ears hurt, gives me headache and has an effect on the central nervous system that is not pleasant, at least to me. I am pretty sure it is certain frequencies causing both problems and it's not always xmas stuff. High pitched bells for a length of time of just a minute or two does it to me, not to mention high notes of violins and fiddles and the like for far less than a minute, those ringing bowls are the worst, instant migraine on those.

So how do I go the market to buy groceries this time of year? I used to pay to have it done for me, then I discovered digital players and earbuds. Now I just slap on my tiny digital player and the earphones, put the volume just enough to where there is ever so slight bleed-through from the noise outside once in a blue moon (so not too loud - I need to protect my ears because they are all I have, I can't see well at all) and no worries.

If you are serious about your litany of complaints where it appears that high frequency information hurts your ears, it sounds like you have some hearing issues.

I for one love Christmas music and there are some really good songs here.

Waiting for mine to arrive. Forgot whether I got black or colored vinyl.

I already know I have no hearing issues to my knowledge because I have always been very careful with my hearing and have not even been to a concert in 20 years and never play anything more than comfortable listening level. My ears also over-compensate for my eyes. However, that being said, it has been some years since I have had my hearing checked officially, so just to satisfy myself, if nothing else, I am going to do so first chance I get with a certified ear doctor, (not a hearing aid place as they are not doctors). I already know what the result will be "there's nothing wrong, your hearing is very good still". Even so, I want to be tested officially anyway.
My biggest complaint is the near instant headache or sick feeling I get with the very high frequencies more than any pain in my ears. I think the ear hurting is most likely phantom than real. Unfortunately, the headaches are all too real. This has been happening for about 3 years now at least, so something's up.

Ok, I just ordered it.

Merry Christmas Y'all...even to the Grinch on here !!

What a collection of artist for Christmas great I'll try and get this, don't know if it will be here in time for Christmas. I have a collection of Christmas music on vinyl and cd...

Once saw Vince Gill at Christmas time, first part of show was Vince's most popular music, second part of show was Vince and a local Symphony Guild doing Christmas Carols, a great performance for the Holidays...

Most artist's perform their best at Christmas, Their gift to folks for the Holidays...
