Hi Mike,Never heard of it. That sounds cool! Do you have any pictures? Information? No mention of it here.
... Are SSDs much more reliable that spinning drives or just faster?
Never had anyone ask for that.

Many downloads do include one or both of those file types...There is always a first time for everything Mike...

An SSD that is mostly just written to and read (as opposed to frequent erasing and re-writing) should last even longer! Although the best price I can find for a Samsung 8TB SSD is about $900
I always wondered what happens if a person were to rip his/her entire CD collection using the Aurender ripper and storage and then decides to change to another brand. Can the entire library with all metadata be transferred to a non-Aurender device and used by that device? I would assume it can but just curious.
PS. Just watched the video and it looks as if the storage is not included with the unit. In that case, I guess that one can just sell the unit and keep the drives.
Ok, I am now using Aurender N20 with esoteric G-02X masterclock: The improvement in sound is very noticeable. Most noticeable is in the mids and highs with improved clarity and some sparkle. The image focus is also better. It takes the streamer to another level. Kudos to aurender.
I certainly agree. The N20 is a significant upgrade from the former N10 in all aspects. It's a very high end source and our top choice here for the most demanding systems and clients since the introduction earlier this year. The build quality and wonderful display also makes this a very solid product that breathe quality.
I'm looking forward to explore the masterclock option as well, which is a new feature and possibility that was only available with the W20(SE) until now.
