I got to hang out with her and chat for most of the day. We discussed her upcoming projects and I even gave her an idea or two for one. She is so passionate about her music and her profession. She loved discussing all the little nuances of the business, recording and more. The best part for me was that even though there were maybe 20 other people there at the event, I don't know if many others knew who she was! So, we just sat there and chatted and chatted until it was time to perform.

What I found interesting was how she recognizes (and loves) that audiophiles are part of her fans. She noted how special attention must be paid to so many things in the recording process, in proper pressing (of vinyl), etc. because she knows how we have such high resolution systems.

She indicated that Bernie Grundman is going to be her mastering engineer for most (if not all) of her next projects. We both agreed, he truly is one of the best. She only wants RTI to do the pressings too. I love how hands on she is.

What a fabulous person. So down to earth. So much energy for what she does.

What struck me most is how "lost" in the music she gets when performing.

If all performers thought and acted that way we would probably spend more money on music and less on the hardware!
