It's really helping that I'm out of town this week; otherwise...:exciting:. But I'm hanging in there...
 
Indeed Debby! However, weather is adding a level of excitement that was not part of the plan. I'm in Mexico and may have some challenges flying home tomorrow through Dallas...:exciting:
 
Well, can't get home today. Dallas conditions are so bad, flts from MX into DFW are cancelled.
 
Bummer Mike! So sorry to hear this. Is there anyone who can supervise the setup for you?
 
I'm so sorry. The Dallas area is def a mess. Top speed on the highways is about 20-25 assuming you can get through at all.
 
Wow, sorry to hear Mike. Hope you can get out sooner than later! What's their ETA for safe traveling again?
 
Assuming all goes ok, I should be landing in AR at noon tomorrow. This arrival time would be ok since the AC guys should be arriving early afternoon.

If that doesn't happen, I'm afraid my wife may have to participate in the process.
 
Here is the latest...I'm still in MX with additional flt delays. I'm hopeful but not certain that I'll make it home tonight.

The guys at Audio Concepts have been very accommodating. We pushed the installation to next Sunday. I wanted them to be safe, given the road conditions, and I wanted to be there. That's what customer service is all about!

Jock - I won't lie to you, it's going to be a bear of a week. But, I rather be relaxed at home and go through the entire process with my dealer.

Lastly, and more importantly, I was very concerned about the guys driving over from Dallas given the road and weather conditions.

Bottom line, the right decision.

But, it's going to be a loooooonnnnnnng week!

Oh, at least I made it out of MX. Should be landing in about 45 minutes. Next, making it home. They keep canceling and moving flights around.
 
I did Mark, around 8:30 pm. It was a good decision to postpone the speaker and amp setup. Still this morning local roads are difficult. Wouldn't have been safe for the AC guys.

Saw the news tonight. We get at least one real slippery day a winter not exactly the same but close. Letting this pass you by is the right idea.
