Setup will be a little ways off. With speakers delivered wifey approved new carpet color. Going for a super thick, dense New Zealand wool. (Love natural fibers in the room) We're having it be almost wall to wall but don't want to trash the hardwoods so it'll be a custom area rug. Thats a couple weeks out, then can schedule with my guys in Seattle to come down for the WASP.

It'll give me a little time to get some new gears too - now the real fun begins as the insurance payment came through yesterday too.
 
Congrats, Bob!! Hope you start a thread on the room buildout, the installs, listening impressions...:cool:
 
That's great news Bob! I don't understand this whole install thing you're talking about. Aren't Wave radios plug and play?
 
Might be a little longer to setup the Wave Radios:D. Now the designers have us scheduled for an almost complete interior paint job. Did I ever mention how much fun this move to Portland has been? Moving, at this stage of life, sure has a lot of consequences. But... better to get some things done now before setting up, so I won't have to tear it down and do it again.

Wine, women, and song... just a little longer. OK, at least the woman part is next to me every day, I have a great wifey. And I can open a bottle, but without tunes its a little less enjoyable. I am sure looking forward to the party in NYC at the end of the month!
 
I think we did well with the "topaz" color, it will fit very nicely in our home.
