Paul, a short time from now you'll remember those amps for the smile they put on your face. All the time listening to your new gear and being glad you did what you did.

Have you ever thought about giving the amp in Mike's current avatar a try? Great all around amp which would give you a little more head room and different signature that the MC-275.
wow paul i never thought id see the day. on to smaller and better things.lol. i had a knot im my stomach for years when i thought about the day i packed my vpi tnt mk4 up and ship it out . but now i would have sold it awhile ago to get to where i wanted to be. things change in a hurry in this hobby. My MC601's are going to another home today....Sad very sad....
i believe bob is a dealer, at least he has a bunch of their gear. im gonna do a home test eventually of the rogers phonostage from him. see if its my style or not, sounded good with his setup, actually better than the kondo phono/sut .Paul
Don't know if you are a member, but there is a good deal on a Line Magnetic 218A 845 based Integrated on Barter Town on AK. The RM-10 to me is great with Jazz and definitely not "warm and tubey." None of Roger's amps are that I have heard. Also I don't think Roger uses dealers anymore, at least according to John Rutan at Audio Connection who was one for over 20 years.
Should I consider this ? what you guys think ?

A close friend runs those Nagra amps with Aesthetix Io phono and Callisto line preamps, driving Kharma speakers. It's an excellent sounding combination, so I would highly recommend an audition of the Nagras in your system! I should also note that the tubes are run very conservatively in those amps. He's had them for many years and he's still on the original set of tubes and they have not required any maintenance at all.Should I consider this ? what you guys think ?

Thanks Bill. Good to know ! I'm planning to check it out some this week or next.

Is that just another flavor of 300 tubes? If so and the Allnics' haven't convinced you to part with the 275s then maybe you need to try another flavor of tube amp. You can go to EL-34 or EL-84 or even the space heater 845's. If the 300 amps you have heard don't do it for you then just changing manufacturer philosophy won't do anything except cost you. If you like KT-88's but think they are missing something in the midrange then the 84 or 34 may be what you are looking for. Just my opinion and I don't swim in those circles.
Paul did you write your comments on the Allnic t1500? I'm just wondering what you thought of its sound.
