I just figured it out. I was unaware of the hidden fuse below the power cord adapter. Fuse was fried. I have spares and will hook everything back up to test when I get a break.
Thanks Dave. Someone suggested checking the continuity of the fuses and not just a visual check so that is on my to do list. I guess instead of testing just the switch, there has to be a way to check if power gets through it without un-soldering it. I will search on that also.
