The writing was already on the wall when Fyne became a Player. Losing all your top people doesn't usually help a company prosper or survive. I am still happy with my Fynes and glad to see they keep selling more pairs.

I still use my Hafler 945 as a Tuner. Strong and solid signals from an OTA antenna.

My VTI racks house everything I need them to hold and did not break the bank. They are not in the same universe as Critical Mass and others but are highly configurable and can be shot filled.

I use a ZVox Sound Base in the bedroom. it's got a 6" sub inside along with a bunch of front speakers. Pretty decent sound for the money.

I have had a system running like this in one form or another for over 30 years. My current 2nd system uses a VAC CLA1 MKII Tube Pre and an Odyssey Stratos Plus amp driving Dynaudio 82s. I have always loved the sound of this combo ever since I had a Sound Valves 101i.
