Are audiophile re-issues a scam? (Clickbait title)

I knew Abey was involved with Impex but had no idea just how integral she is along with all her history going back to Cisco. Wow, what a great documentary on the history of them all. Thanks for sharing, Gary!

    Do EV chargers introduce noise?

We don't own an electric vehicle but plenty of my neighbors do! Does anyone know if the most common EV home/garage charging systems introduce noise on the grid? We sometimes hear stories about electrical noise introduction from things like welders in the neighborhood, noisy appliances...

    The “friendliest audio forum”?

Thanks. I'd wondered if you had to travel to town and glad I've not been missing something closer. I'm familiar with ListenUp. Have visited their store on Exposition/Pearl many times over the years starting in the late 70's with my dad.

Tom, please do tell the whereabouts of this shop. Have I been missing a gem in these mountains all these years?

    hello,

Welcome Kelly! Looks like you're having some fun with that gear. Older + newer can bring surprisingly great sound. I too run a VPI Classic turntable and though there are better decks, this one sound wonderful to my ears. No reason to change at this point in my journey. Happy listening.

Having separate Gain and Level adjustment (knobs) allowed a user to drive power amps however they wanted. With the variable Gain adjustment you could dial in the "power-band" so to speak of...

    For Mikado Dave

Hi Dave, I saw this today on Facebook and immediately thought of you. Probably old hat in your circle, but I found it to be a cool capture regardless. Cheers!

How to Troubleshoot a High-End Audio Ethernet Network

Hi Everyone, The other day I was reading here on AS a thread about somebody (Brad225?) having issues with re-connecting all their Ethernet connected gear (can't find that thread now) and getting it all to communicate properly once again after disassembly. It's been my experience that many folks...

    My two channel theater

I forgot about this thread. Fun to look back through how some things have changed and others not! Here's an updated snap of my current setup:
