I learnt this terrible news a few days ago. I am deeply saddened.
Yesterday, a friend gave me more details about what happened. My heart is crying and devastated.
I knew Dan since 2005 or 2006. We met on AK.
One or two years before the birth of AA. He was the one who invited me to AA.
We have had a huge writing relation over the years. Not only about our hobby. When my father died in 2009, he offered me tons of compassion and support. And in many occasions of my life.
I got the chance to meet him in his beautiful home and I spent one day with him.
Dan was one of the best man I ever met. He was all about attention to others and he personified Friendship and Kindness to me.
He was also a very brave and courageous man who faced worst life situations with Dignity and Philosophy.
From what I learnt yesterday, it is no surprise to me that Dan kept this brave attitude until his last breath.
I will never ever forget him. Like all the people who were blessed to meet him.
RIP my Dear Friend. Reunited with Marlene, the love of your life.
I will deeply miss you.

Certainly Dan's passing has saddened us all.
We can however be brightened by having known him and more importantly his reuniting with Marlene.
God Bless.

I know I am late to this thread but just found out. I haven’t been very active on the forums in the last couple of years but when I learned of this I was very saddened.

RIP Dan.

I met Dan over on the other audio forum thru his post and exchanged pm's a few times, he helped with buying and changing out tubes in my C2300. he even called and walk me thru
the process. Sad news for sure will miss you Dan.

Wow ! I just saw this. Such sadness. Dan and I kept in touch after the passing of his wife Marlene of 31 years back in Feb 2019. Such a nice helpful person. He will be missed.

I am late to this piece of sad news if not for my buddy Howie who informed me. I've known Dan since we started discussing PMC speakers. From then on, he always have the time to talk, chat and helped me post several of my changes in this forum and the others. He will surely be missed. RIP Dan ...
