I read you have upgraded to the Esoteric K1 in your posts and would really like to know how big the improvement or changes the sound has made in relation to the K-01x as i am considering the same upgrade.

But also thinking maybe changing cables could result in a similar or greater difference than just changing the player.

Hope to hear your impressions over time having the new K1.

It was a while ago when I heard the RCM Theriaa. I did prefer the XP-25 at the time. It seems to have a slightly more open sound.

Thanks for the great post about computing with the T + A...do you think the Dell you listed would do a good job of up converting to DSD512 with HQP while running Roon simultaneously? I would rather spend more and get something that will handle more if needed..,thanks again!

Would triton v3 benefit from a typhon? Or due to CCI, benefit is marginal and only constrained to a single zone?

IMO up to now it's the best combination I've heard with Raidho's. But that said I haven't heard the new Aavik separates. Tyler asked me if I want to 'break in' his separates since his store isn't open yet and I refused for fear I wouldn't want to give them back. If I did give them back I'm afraid I woudn't be as happy with my U300. Lars had mentioned before it was released the separates adds many more layers of resolution. Another amp I really liked is the Burmester 911. Definitely a warmer sound with unbelievable control.

That said I've read the Raidho's sound best with amps that have a high dampening factor. The Aavik is about 8K - the Soulution about 10K and Burmester about 14K.

You should send a pm to Le Roy and if he is still in town I'm sure he would invite you over for a demo.

I bought the same NCore 500 monos as you did from Nord.

I would love to talk to you about your thoughts . While there are good things about Colin's amps, there are some traits that are very troubling to me such as vocals. The clarity is just not there. Yes, the sound seems spacious but I find myself looking for reasons to go do something else after listening for 20-30 minutes. This is not good.

I had NCore 400 monos I built that seemed to have a better sound(to the best of my memory)
