Who has had their Pass Labs amps the longest? Still love 'em? .....

Just curious how the long term satisfaction is for you?
 
Hi Joe,

Should have held onto my XA-100.5 monoblocks. They sounded awesome. The XA-160.5 monoblocks are destined to be all-time classics.

Certainly not, the Nords put out almost zero heat. They barely run warm. My Nords aren't going anywhere.

I'm looking forward to some hot little furnace for the fall/winter. I love my room cold in the winter and I also love hot amps, just not in the summer.

I lost track of the time, but it must be around 4 years now with my Pass gear. I certainly can't see changing since it will be big bucks for maybe a tad different sound.

Understood. I made my seasonal swap a few weeks ago. I left my space-heater amp in longer than normal to evaluate some upstream changes I had just made but needed to burn in first. I was also out of town for almost 2.5 weeks. But it is supposed to be 100 degrees by the end of the week so Tees, shorts, flip-flops, and summer amp it is.

FYI, Pass Labs is located about an hour up the hill from me.

With all the various models available, I'd love to be able to hear/compare the differences between them. I'd want the amp(s) with the sweetest, most holographic and biggest sound stage in the line up. I don't necessarily need power, but if it comes along with what I am looking for, I'll take it.

DIY Pass Labs Aleph AX 70W Amplifers that i build about 7 years ago. One is in repair and i cant wiat to have it back and compare with my new XA160.5.
I have had INT 30A ( for about 1 month ) = SOLD
Had Pass XA 60.8 = SOLD after 6 months
Had Pass XP20 = SOLD after 3 months

Now have Pass XA 160.5 and i`m now happy with it.
