What Vinyl Do You Have On The Table?

Stanley Turrentine With The Three Sounds ‎– Blue Hour -1961 - 1985 DMM remaster - US pressing.

Burial ‎– Kindred + Zomby X Burial ‎– Sweetz. Burial is always interesting - amazingly, has released 15 singles/eps since his 2nd album in 2007 - still no 3rd album

Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers ‎– Indestructible! - Blue Note 80 Vinyl Reissue Series –

Prince - Purple Rain - 2017 KG vinyl remaster. 4 years since Prince died - WOW. gone so fast - miss him dearly. RIP musical legend.

Stanley Turrentine ‎– Hustlin' - Blue Note Tone Poet Series – impossible to go wrong with these.

Hilary Hahn/ Retrospective. New vinyl release from Hilary Hahn, one LP recorded in direct-to-disc quality, the other is a best of selection by herself of previous material.

Very nice and accomplished, but lacks the innocence of the Bach Concertos of a young kid playing without prejudice and like a goddess.

The Police ‎– Reggatta De Blanc - original Aussie pressing - must have been 20 years since I played this. still sounds great.

Cat Stevens... one of my all-time favorite albums for checking out new gear.... checking out new Rega cartridge... 45 rpm remaster, best version to date in my view!

I love my 500 series 45 rpm copy. The bass pluck at the opening is a point of reference on this reference quality album.

Andy Shauf ‎– The Neon Skyline - new album from Andy is a ripper - still have that 70's America like vibe.

Kurt Vile ‎– Smoke Ring For My Halo - 2011 on Matador US pressing. My first exposure to Kurt. amazing album and now I luv all his stuff. He reminds me of BJM where most songs sound similar outwardly however once you listen a few times, the subtle changes in their music is awaken and makes all the difference.

More fabulous Tone Poet stuff. Donald Byrd/ Chant.

Not sure whether it’s these Tone Poet editions, or if it’s the Lyra cart, but the amount of texture I’m hearing is amazing. Really fun.
