What Vinyl Do You Have On The Table?

So, they find a previously unreleased recording of my all time favorite jazz pianist, 35 years after his passing and release it on vinyl. Well, twist my arm, but I take it.

Thelonius Monk/ Les liaisons dangereuses 1960, 33 rpm 180g vinyl.

Looking at the back cover, no wonder this record was produced by Bone Burnett.

Decemberists go Britpop with traditional - whatever that is supposed to signify [emoji3]. Some songs (e.g. Blackleg Miner) do have those Whiskey In The Jar -Type of harmonics though.

Offa Rex/ The Queen Of Hearts, 33 rpm vinyl, Nonesuch label.

Nice brand new vinyl, superb contemporary Dixie. The diamond will probably break through to the other side if I continue playing it this much.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band/ So It Is, 33 rpm grooved media.

Just bought the remastered version of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" last night and its spinning now. Awesome recording. No hiss, clicks or pops. They did a great job on the remaster, it sounds pristine.

XV-1, I was just at a local vinyl store today and saw that George Benson album you posted and thought about buying it. I am going to have to look it up.

I did buy a used 1980 MOFI version of Cat Stevens "Tea for the Tillerman" in pristine condition. Just finished listening to it.

Who would expect Monday evening to be as cool strutting as Sunday morning?
