Next up... Stanley Clarke ~ If This Bass Could Only Talk.

Great sounding recording from one of my all time favorite bass players.

There are some nice pieces on this one, although it is more like a test LP for different types of tonal balance. Used it to test the Nagra VPS.

Hot off the press: Chasing The Dragon/ Various Artists. Was used at AXPONA to demo the new CAT Amp Series. Great sound quality.

Love that box set. I have to sit down with it one weekend when I have a moment and put in a couple of Peterson hours.

This is the new pressing, hot off the press: Sinatra At The Sands with The Count Basie Orchestra, arranged by Quincy Jones.

On this record Sinatra's art comes out rather nicely. Maybe even more than just being a vocal talent, he was a really great entertainer. Like when goofing around with the sax player on "I've Got A Crush On You". I don't perceive his vocal technique being particularly sophisticated, but I think he is great fun to listen to.

He was even more fun when together with Dino, with the gentlemen exchanging jabs like: "I spill more Whiskey than you drink" (Dean Martin).
