Double album. 79 cents at Goodwill. Never played. Dead quiet pressing too.

Dave Croz: Croz. 33 rpm vinyl with 2 tracks added in 45 rpm audiophile versions.

Great sounding LP.

This MUST be cool. Well, it's Finnish jazz after all and that is a quite cold country :).

Timo Lassy: In With Lassy, 33 rpm vinyl.

Unfortunately the Five Corners Quintet vinyls are very rare.

Hey guys,

At the risk of sounding like an old curmudgeon, can I request that you please accompany the image of what you're listening to with at least one sentence that conveys your thoughts about it?

Maybe it's me, but the fact that you're listening to something isn't that valuable; how you feel about it, however, is extremely valuable.

Thanks for reading. Ignore me if you don't agree :-)

While doing some clean up in the basement at work the other day I found 18 boxes full of LP's hidden under the stairs. They were put there 20 years ago and forgotten about :disbelief: . This was among the 1000+ records. It looked interesting, so it made it to the table first.

The sound quality is good, but not amazing. The music however is great! Lot's of big name artists on this one.

Good idea. Will do from now on :)

Yeah, It's amazing what you can find in the basement of a 40 year old HI-Fi store. According to the owner of the store I work at they were found sitting in front of the door one morning in 1996 with a note that read something like " We are moving and can't take there with us. We thought you might be able to use them " . They were put away and forgotten about. I took them home the other day and am having great time going through them.

I once tried to get traction on this kind of commentary on vinyls, but the thread died down:

a) why did you buy it
b) what do you like about it
c) recommended listening yes/no 1-10

Maybe it was too cumbersome. Personally I am however interested in the stories and views of fellow sharks. Have found so many good recommendations on this forum.

Ok Paul, I think that's doable. I have a fair trade to offer, you get the record I do get your Kronos. Ok, yes?!? [emoji41][emoji56][emoji41]

LOL. That's fair enough [emoji38][emoji38]

Well , this is on my table today

Love the OJC series.

This my first time hearing this album. Good sounding recording. I really like her first and second albums. This one falls just a bit short of those, but is still a enjoyable listen.

One of my favourite album. Smooth buttery sounds.

So far, my fav's;
Anywhere You What To Go
Echizo
Suenos
Leave Me Alone
Blues Magic
Forgiveness

So far it sounds like the old Santana crew I grew up with. Not as great as Abraxas or Santana III but pretty good technically with that old Santana percussion to drive the music home. Some of the tracks seem to get lost in some overplay or wandering like Forgiveness and Fillmore East but inside each there is some nice guitar work.
