Mine has two parts, or five if you count the cables, but I consider it one piece. I love my Bryston BDP-1 digital file player, Auralic Vega DAC, Shunyata Anaconda AES digital cable, and two Shunyata Alpha Digital power cords. This combination allows me to truly enjoy more music, and get the best performance from my stereo. The rest of the gear just allows this source to work at it's optimal level.

Oh man....good question. As much as I love my Kronos and Lumin S1, I would have to say my Sonus Faber Stradivari's. They have a soul.

hmmmmm thats tough since im enjoying my first week with a new amp. but if i had to just pick one piece to keep and start over again , i think id keep my cartridge. ortofon cadenza black is just a super value and such a great sounding cartridge. the next cartridge i would pick to buy over this one costs double.

Split 1) kingdom royals 1a) CAT statement mono amps 1c) MSB diamond dac/clock/ps

My Benz LPS is like a long term lover. Others come and go...

Did you ended up selling you main gears ? :)

I sold my ARC ref 40. My air tight preamp(s) are amazing. Right now I am trying to decide if my arc ref2se outperforms my other phono stages. In think it does. More body and slam.

Second time answering this exact same question tonight, my favourite piece of gear is my Parasound HCA-1200II amplifier, while not as high end as much of the equipment you folks roll it certainly brings a nice lively performance out my floorstanding speakers quite well. Also it can do some seriously good damage to a quiet house.

Price is all relative brother ! If it gets your feet tapping that's all that matters ;) I have kingdom royals , snell illusions , Canterbury GR , Verity Sarastro II and u till yesterday a pair of original GRF Memory's ... But there are still many of night I kick back and spend the night with my Tannoy DC-10 on my old Sansui stack I picked up for 2k 15 years ago ... Sometimes the price just doesn't matter ;)

....maybe so, but, you can upgrade anytime you choose without the wait too, thats a biggy when it comes to slumming it sometimes, although I do understand where you are coming from. Mine has been the Soulution 520 for the last 20 months or so, it's the longest I've owned any component.

Agreed , but truly sometimes an old not so perfect LP on the "slumming it stack and the bookshelves can take the stress right out of yea for some reason . Kinda like the old pair of madden boat shoes the wife has been trying to throw away for years but every Sunday you sneak them out of the trash bin cause they just feel right ;)

CH Precision A1 stereo amp for me. That thing is a sweet beast. And its flexibility make it a good match for many speakers.

There's something magical about WAVAC on the right speaker!

Mine is my tricked out Technics RS-1500 reel-to-reel tape deck equipped with Pro-Nortronics heads and King-Cello tape preamplifier. Yes someday would like to hear the Doshi (maybe Bruce Brown can comment on Nick's unit!). With all apologies, it don't get any better! :)

Hmmm....I wonder how this amp would pair with a Shindo preamp and a pair of Tannoy WestMinisters?

If it has the right impedance-and I suspect it does-heaven!

Heard one of the WAVAC amplifiers around 15 years or so ago at CES (think was first time WAVAC was at CES) driving an exclusive pair of JBLs that weren't exported out of Japan. I was sitting next to Joe Harley that day and I think we were both blown away by what we heard. All I remember is that it sounded like the musicians were in the room with you and the sound was so smooth and up fatiguing!

Jack English reviewed another of the WAVAC amps (833?) for me/Ultimate Audio years ago and loved them on his ProAcs. Also was one of the hottest looking covers we shot for the magazine.

If electronics can be referred to as "sexy," that WAVAC amp is off the charts hot.
