What is this? Brilliant or heresy?

I saw a video/Reel of a customer who used the SCK-4 and Tube Blender on his new Avantgarde set up. I have not been able to find out much information on these units, maybe they are newish or information is kept close to the vest. Even using AI information was vague.

Here's what I know from the video and researching attempts. SCK-4 is a unit that allows the user to manipulate the sound stage, depth, width, the user even mentioned moving the vocalist. I'm not sure of any other options or features.

Tube Blender, this allows the user to dial in how much "tube effect" they want on the sound. I'm not sure how this is done. Do they offer their own amp or is it some type of tube buffer?

On one hand the purist in me is cringing, on the other hand I can see the appeal. Using a SCK-4 and the DSP you could potentially drop a set of AG in most any room. The Tube Blender idea isn't new some manufacturers offer both tube and solid state output, like Cary or older Peachtree. Tube buffers have been stand alone units. AG is the first to my knowledge to offer a way to dial in how much of the effect you wanted.

1. Anyone have additional information to add?
2. How do you feel about the options, would you like it or heresy?
3. If you've tried or heard either your thoughts?

look up its inventor, Angela-Gilbert Yeung and then tell me if it all makes sense.

Looks like the SCK-4 and the Tube Blender are aftermarket products by Yeung for AG users. Seems Blue Circle users are either a fan or a hater. If you used them and they worked good but the term home made almost applies and notable reliability issues. Definitely responsible for some interesting products.

Hi guys, last week I just happened to stumble upon a B&M audio shop in my new hometown, Chatham Ontario.
It is called Absolute sound, the owner (Mike Woodcock) is close friends with Angela Gilbert Yeung. He carries a bunch of his gear, I guess you could call him a rep, or dealer for Gilbert.
I previously owned a Blue Circle amp, and home demoed a Saturn Dac that Gilbert designed, both were very musical.
Anyway, I was familiar with his quirky style, and have watched a lot of his videos.
Mike suggested I try one of his noise suppression items , and could return it if it did not make a positive difference.
This thing removed any noise that I was not aware I had, and now i feel like I am inside the music. Happy, yes, tears rolling down my face , yes.
I plan on demoing one of his preamps next. I run a Lumin P1 directly into a Nagra Classic amp.
All you do is plug this thing into your power distributor. He showed me by plugging in this little device that was buzzing quite loudly, as soon as he plugged the gizmo in, the buzzing stopped completely.
Also used a voltage meter, to show how it cuts noise in half.
I have a Shunyata Venom PS-10 , just plugged it in an empty socket.
$135 dollars well spent.
