Wonderful Middle Eastern music recorded very well by M A Recordings.

Robert Plant's latest. A great album blending a number of musical styles and cultures. Love it!

Heard an interview on NPR with Plant and the cuts they played sounded great, it's on my list to pick up, thanks for the confirmation! A new release to be on the lookout for this week is fantastic singer Nikki Yanofsky, partial to jazz but sings/writes other styles as well. Listening right now to Cecile Salvant's WomanChild, another wonderful jazz voice (sorry can't get the image, using my nexus).

I really like it, Ron, hope you will too. I also got his Mighty Rearranger album and I LOVE that album. Was $7 bucks at amazon. Good stuff, too.

Thanks for your recommendations, Ron. I like your taste in music, will try the artists out!

Esbjorn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.) Good Morning Susie Soho - ostensibly modern jazz, but defies categorization, great late night listening. And Allen, just ordered Mighty Rearranger, can't wait to listen. Thanks!

LOL. I tried to make a post and I got an error saying it is a duplicate of a post made in the last 5 minutes. Yes, but the other post was to a different forum, which uses different forum software. Nice bug.

Early recording of Grace Slick and the Great Society live- this is interesting to hear her kind of raw or unrefined as opposed what would come later.
Sorry, Picture function does not work.
