What are you listening to tonight ?

I ripped my Metallica CD's to my HD so sat and listened to In Justice For All

To celebrate Tool available on Tidal and other sreaming services for the first time, I listened to, Undertow.

While on Tidal I checked out Tyler Childers, Country Squire and enjoyed it quite a bit. I plan to go back to listen to some of his earlier titles.

I noticed Metallica was not available, is it a royalty thing?

Dianna Kral and Tony Bennett. Spent the afternoon listening to the new Blue Highway album, Somewhere Far Away. Outstanding album!! For anyone wanting to listen to or be introduced to some great "neo-traditional" bluegrass check this or any other Blue Highway album out.

Just listening to my 1977 version of this album. Gene Ammons & Sonny Stitt, "Jug & Sonny". In comparison to my 1984 Chess Records re-release, it has a more natural sound, to my ears. It is way off with the balance though, luckily I can easily compensate with my preamp.

Of course, I couldn't listen to Gene Ammons without listening to this classic redone by Analogue Productions. Absolutely superb sound. The music speaks for itself.
