Belanger & Bisson - Quboz 44 kHz
Honestly I picked this up along the way never hearing the duo before. It has flavors of Jazz and Classical depending on the track - a style blend I’m not familiar with, but like this a lot!
Reference quality all day long. The cello come across extremely lively accenting heavy mid’s and the piano has the weighted flavor of the keys.
Worth a listen or your money back [emoji2960]

Bélanger started to make his own recordings, the first one collecting contributions via Indiegogo. I participated in that one, and also bought this second one. Maybe a future type of record industry.

Great album. Most all of the CTI Jazz from that time was well done. I saw the California Concert assembly in Detroit in the early 70's.
