I jammed this last night. Actually, just ran across it last night scrolling. I can't believe something this spectacular hasn't caught my attention. Some of the best trumpet players that lived playing together and jamming the Blues, this rocks, and, a lot of fun.

This is a superb album, with a fantastic quintet (Lee Morgan, McCoy Tyner, and others). As far as I know, it was Wayne Shorter's Blue Note debut. Good pick!

I agree! Yes, it was his debut as a leader for Blue Note.

My brother in law was the singer, pedal steel guitar player and acoustic guitar player (not all at the same time ) in a Texas swing band, when he was alive. He played country gigs near Navasota. Who doesn't like Texas swing? Ha ha.
