What are you listening to tonight ?

Listening to the digital version of this right now. Sure wish I had it on vinyl...

Great debut; from Chrissie & the boys! (RIP JHS)

I agree. She was sassy and the band was fantastic. That would make a good thread. "Best Debut Albums."

IDK Doug; I happen to think a LOT of bands, best work...was their first.

For those of you, who are big Chrissie fans; check out The Isle Of View. It's listed as a Pretenders title; and I guess the boys are there...somewhere, lol. But AFAIC...this might as well be called Chrissie Unplugged.

Beautiful set...and a nice-sounding spin as well.

Right now...can't help, but listen to the debut myself. "I shot my mouth off, and you showed me what that hole was for". :snicker:

I totally agree with you here. As a matter of fact I'm gonna' go put on another great debut album right now, "The Psychedelic Furs", except on vinyl...

Waiting for my car after the concert.

More later, but easily one of my favorite concerts of the year. If you are a fan of Sarah, she is a must see live!

7 of the KISS 180g audiophile reissues just landed! These are the first US pressings since 1985.

First on the table is KISS Alive. WoW! Never sounded so good! I guess KISS pumping through a McIntosh analog rig has something to do with that. MC2301s frickin rock!

Historical is a good word. :band:

Mike...these are fabulous pressings. Very quiet, incredible soundstage. Tight & spacious. No compression whatsoever.

Kiss 1974 debut album is a must have in this 180g reissue.

Last time we saw them was in 2003 with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra with the Australian Childresn Choir. (Kiss Alive IV). :oley:
