I just got an email ad from Acoustic Sounds announcing the VPI Classic 3 is now available with the new 3D tonearm @ $7,400.00 Personally If I was going to buy a new Classic 3 @ $6,000.00 , I would pony up for the new 3D arm, everybody that heard it awhile back at their event said it was clearly better than the already great Classic 3 arm !!

And just think you have the ability to upgrade down the road now, if your
going to stick it out with vinyl.
And trust me being a vpi guy, they come out with new stuff a d upgrades all the time.
I bought a Aries with a jmw 10 arm and a week later the 10.5 came out.
Drop that kleos on that thing you'll never look back!!!

You should wait a while for the 3D tonearm upgrade

Steve, thats really great advice, I agree !!
 
I'm sticking with the regular arm too. Looks way better IMO. I'm not ready to muddy up my rosewood classic 3 with an ugly black arm! :)

LMAO!!!!! I still stare at my classic 1 . With that fat daddy metal platter. Just looks real cool!
And the one you guys are getting is even nicer!!!! You will find yourself admiring it often!

I spent over $1000 on new vinyl yesterday (some rare stuff for Joe....shhhhh.....don't tell him) and some for me. Once I start shopping on Acoustic Sounds, I can't stop!

Nice!!!!! I promised myself I wouldn't buy another record until I get a new amp home.
But the second I send out that payment it's go time !! I'm soooo bored of my records right now
I got a full cart at acoustic sounds, also at soundstage direct. Lol I can still shop just not buy yet. It's killing me.

Nice I'm a huge manley fan. Wanted a steelhead but now I can run 1 turntable through my
Preamp and I'd like to get a second table and run that through a chinook. At least that's the plan this week. Lol
