Hey Guys,
I've had Triode Wire Labs in my system for a few weeks now. Yes, I did some A/B testing and here are my conclusions:
Interconnects:
The thing I love about Pete's (Triode Wire Labs) interconnect cables is the transparency, the dynamics, and the neutrality!
The other thing I love is the connectors he uses. (I had Kimber Cables before, which I really liked, but the interconnects Kimber uses are WBT RCA's which are a two handed operation....a real PITA when you swap equipment and have to reach behind, with both hands, to make a proper connection).
Pete uses really good connectors...all a one-handed operation.
Power Cords:
Now, his connectors on his power cords are the tightest I've ever experienced, and I like that positive feel. (You ever notice how some power cords make all these claims, yet when you plug them into your components they still have some wobble. So you have this stiff power cord, that's not got the greatest tight fit...what you get is incomplete contact.) There is nothing worse than a power cord that is too stiff. It's like wrestling an Anaconda behind your stand..
TWL power cords have great connectors and I've never seen or experienced such a supple power cord. TWL power cords are so supple, even his 7 gauge, that you can wrap them around your fist. You couple that with great connectors, and you have ultimate contact.
I'm only posting this because I have become a great fan of Pete's Triode Wide Labs cables.
