Triode Wire Labs ???

I use all TWL cords and they are awesome. Very natural sounding, full but balanced. Like a good tube sound! Plus his customer service is out of this world. I design his website, just to let people know ;) Petes a great guy.

Have been using Pete's cables for several years now and absolutely love them.

The whole system just sounds more relaxed and effortless. It's like the difference between an amateur musician who can play well but really has to work at it vs. a seasoned elite professional who just has the music kind of flow out of him.

In terms of a detailed rundown of what changed, I can't say I noticed anything in particular that the cable stood out as doing overly well but the total sound just had a big sense of "rightness" to it. (I always get nervous when any aspect of a component stands out as that much better than the other aspects as they usually get tiring over the long run.)

Started out using the original 8 American Gauge on my ARC VT-200 and recently upgraded to the 7 Plus cable. Another significant increase in SQ. Similar in character to what I wrote above about the 8, but just more of it.

The thing that amazed me the most was when I tried a TWL chord on my VPI SDS. Here is a deice whose entire reason for being is to isolate the output from the input yet when I swapped in Petes chord ther was an immdeiate and very noticeable improvement. I had sveral audio buddies over to listen to the change (of course without telling or letting them see what it was) and every one of them not only heard a difference, but they all identified the same characteristics as being improved.

Better without getting etched or Hi-Fi sounding. Just righterer.

Maybe, but you're probably my doppleganger, since I'm older.

Anyways, when I was working up in Long Island a couple of years ago, Pete was kind enough to invite me to a get-together at his home for some of the local audiophiles. It was truly an enjoyable evening.
I do remember one person who was blonde-haired: could it have been you? We people of Germanic or Nordic descent do kind of stick out in Long Island.

Thanks for the welcome. Looks like another good place to hang out and chat.

Hey Guys,

I've had Triode Wire Labs in my system for a few weeks now. Yes, I did some A/B testing and here are my conclusions:

Interconnects:
The thing I love about Pete's (Triode Wire Labs) interconnect cables is the transparency, the dynamics, and the neutrality!
The other thing I love is the connectors he uses. (I had Kimber Cables before, which I really liked, but the interconnects Kimber uses are WBT RCA's which are a two handed operation....a real PITA when you swap equipment and have to reach behind, with both hands, to make a proper connection).
Pete uses really good connectors...all a one-handed operation.

Power Cords:
Now, his connectors on his power cords are the tightest I've ever experienced, and I like that positive feel. (You ever notice how some power cords make all these claims, yet when you plug them into your components they still have some wobble. So you have this stiff power cord, that's not got the greatest tight fit...what you get is incomplete contact.) There is nothing worse than a power cord that is too stiff. It's like wrestling an Anaconda behind your stand..

TWL power cords have great connectors and I've never seen or experienced such a supple power cord. TWL power cords are so supple, even his 7 gauge, that you can wrap them around your fist. You couple that with great connectors, and you have ultimate contact.

I'm only posting this because I have become a great fan of Pete's Triode Wide Labs cables.
