Lot's of high end dealers around and a longstanding culture of audiophile enthusiasm. There are plenty of older guys with tremendous expertise who have helped me discover good gear and how to make the best use of it.

Greetings !

Welcome!

Mark Jones of Audio By Mark Jones in Whitby is a terrific dealer. So is Adrian in Vaughn.

I'm from Toronto, but live in Florida now. Was in Toronto last week....holy crap it was cold!

Welcome to Audioshark!!

We have not been above zero degrees for even a microsecond in the entire month of February. I guess Toronto is good for audio in that respect as well. A long winter makes for a lot of time best spent listening.

You have to go hear Mark's full blown Tenor setup with Magico's. If you're a vinyl guy, bring some Depends....he's got some of the most beautiful looking and sounding tables you will find in the GTA.

I spoke with Mark during my speaker search and I look forward to meeting him soon. He was recommending I hear some new "Ryan" speakers from CA that he heard at the Rocky Mountain show. Unfortunately they are on back-order due to an enthusiastic initial reception and I couldn't wait.

They were excellent. Best value I heard at RMAF this year.

Welcome to AS !

There must be something to living in a colder climate. Minnesota is also home to a lot of audio gear as well as manufacturers.

Welcome bay st it is true at 40 below putting on a record sounds a lot better than going for a walk.

Welcome - the water in the Shark Tank is a lot warmer than Bay Street , the inhabitants are (usually) more civilized too

Happy to welcome you to Oakville sometime
