Yep! Tonight I received an email from Tidal. We’re missin’ you Get 3 months for just $1.99. How could I refuse. That's a single $1.99 charge for 90 days of Tidal HiFi/Masters. So it looks like I'm back in the the Tidal fold. After the 90 day promotion period I go back to the usual $19.99 a month. They hooked me quicker than a hungry bass after a fat minnow. I just couldn't pass up the bait.

Nice, now I wish they’d throw us “loyal” customers a bone.

Once I trialed Tidal and Qobuz I found that I can't live without them... A great way to be able to instantly access new music referenced in audio reviews and recommended by friends! :audiophile:

Actually, it is a great way to access ANY music. When I have friends over I give them a tablet and ask them to play whatever music they want. When they realize that they can find and play anything in their mind their expression is priceless.

Projectman.......I didn't realize that special subscription price included veterans. I thought it was for active duty personnel. I'll have to look into that.

Let me know what you find out Dan.

I'm definitely not Active Duty. It is for veterans, active duty, etc. You will need to email a copy of your DD-214 and then they set you up quickly

Korean War?!
Wow.
Yup, I'm getting old! I remember the Sunday when we heard about Pearl Harbor on the radio. I have recordings of Vera Lynn. My favorite movie is Mrs. Miniver. When they took 40's on 4 off of Sirius my wife stopped listening to it. My favorite Internet radio station is a big band station out of San Francisco. I don't consider RAP to be music. When I sold my Aurender N10 I wiped the music off of it because I knew no one would care for it.

Projectman.......Thanks for the additional information. I wouldn't mind the discounted monthly subscription fee, but my DD-214 has my social security number, date of birth, and my service number on it. I won't be providing that information to Tidal under any circumstances.

The link does not work for me. It takes me to a different thread that only has 9 posts.

Oh, I don't know why that is. At any rate, the information from that thread has been posted in this one.

Leatherneck, I’m a full generation behind you but not foreign to the importance of nostalgia

Bud, my hat off to you Sir!

I also see you gear is absolutely up to date.
Respect!

If I reach that age, I'll try to follow in your footsteps.
