Me and my better half went to "Jane Monheit" concert last night and We really enjoyed the show.

It was world class concert hall and fabulous acoustic

Now here is my question.

As a home hifi system we are trying to build up the system good with 3D and deep stage but in concert hall I didn't find any 3D stage at all ......

Don't we all trying to hear the singer in the middle and all the instruments are surrounded ?

But Why I don't feel the same way in real concert hall ?

And which way supposed to be in my home system ???

I am listening one of her album and I feel she is right in front of me and doing a private concert...-confused-

Paul, see all the guys in the last pic, they worry like that. Stop it or you'll lose your hair. :D Lots of hair loss going on at that concert. The venue looks great.

Hey, I resemble that remark! (haha, well, almost!)

But agree with Paul, my system seems 'hyper' real vs. what I hear in the concert halls. I hear depth and some separation, but not to the same extent as at home. But like Kev says, I ain't worrying about it, I'm loving it in fact!:D
