What a great article! Great post Bob!
Kind of funny yes, but I personally agree with and believe in those truths as I can see there is a large thread of realism running through them. There are always exceptions of course. For instance, a number of "audiophiles" here, do take the time to sit and just listen to and enjoy the music at least on occasion if not more often, so that "truth" in the article has some wiggle room.
 
Concerning this truth ...

Truth 12: All small, state-of-the-art audio manufacturers are really manifestations of Phineas T. Barnum.

... If you are able and willing to spend $50k on cables, you probably are a sucker.
 
I personally like to apply the very subjective 'performance/fun to dollar' ratio for all my audio considerations .. i consider this my form of therapy .. others my sanity index .. :rolleyes:
