I don't miss any system I have had. I do miss that Cary V12 amplifier. I used to only run 2 tubes per side = 17wpc of triode goodness. IMHO, Cary's amps are better than their preamps.
There is not a single piece of equipment that I miss.
Yes indeed!!Fond memories then ?![]()
Joe,
Any early favorites when it comes to assembling your new system?

Hey Joe, Cheryal and I are getting used to retirement. We love it but there are some major changes. Like being able to do what we want without having to think that I have to get up for work in the morning (I do still have to get up to feed the kittensI’m going to have to visit Mike and see what’s on the menu. I’m not ready until I get settled after retirement later this year. I’m still trying to figure it all out.

Like being able to do what we want without having to think that I have to get up for work in the morning (I do still have to get up to feed the kittens). But, we absolutely love it and believe that we worked hard all of our lives and deserve it.
We do have to be a lot more careful about our finances. I guess this goes without saying for most people. We feel we did ok in our work years and are very happy that we were able to purchase our new home without a mortgage. This is the main reason we moved out of California. The costs were far too high to be able to retire.
