The amps are hot, and the beer is cold.

For the long weekend I took Friday off, so I turned the stereo on Thursday night for my first weekend listening session. Since the weather has been great this week, I have been able to seal up the house to not annoy the neighbors, and not have to run the AC. Since I am saving that electricity, I have kept the amps on.

Now 48 hours later on Saturday night I am sitting here amazed at how good this stereo is now sounding. It has been a while since I let the amps warm up this long. If I didn't know better I would think I am at Magico listening to the S7.

I sometimes feel a little sorry for those who can't hear the difference between cold and warm amps, cables, and other items that elevate a stereo onto a different level. Of course, some of them appear to be grumpy old men who hate everything, so I don't feel sorry for them. :)

Same here. I have been listening for 3 hours and drinking Hendrick's and Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic.

Hell yeah dude. I'm about to kick back and do some serious listenin'. It's been awhile since I've had the opportunity to do so. CYA boys sometime tomorrow afternoon. :D

Zero, it is 1 AM in VA. That is a great time to serious listen. Give me three hours to catch up.
