For the long weekend I took Friday off, so I turned the stereo on Thursday night for my first weekend listening session. Since the weather has been great this week, I have been able to seal up the house to not annoy the neighbors, and not have to run the AC. Since I am saving that electricity, I have kept the amps on.
Now 48 hours later on Saturday night I am sitting here amazed at how good this stereo is now sounding. It has been a while since I let the amps warm up this long. If I didn't know better I would think I am at Magico listening to the S7.
I sometimes feel a little sorry for those who can't hear the difference between cold and warm amps, cables, and other items that elevate a stereo onto a different level. Of course, some of them appear to be grumpy old men who hate everything, so I don't feel sorry for them.
