hmmm, I wonder why with the window open in the room, outside 62, inside 77? :disbelief:

Unfortunately, I can't stop listening. Hopefully I won't get a Tan by sitting around inside listening to music.

I'm hoping Joe will rent me his Job 225 from about June 1 through September 15th next year. :)

Ha!

I've got a second one coming, so sure you can borrow one. But let me warn you the heatsink on the Job 225 can hit 140 degrees F. There's no free lunch :)

So tell me how good are these ART amps? Really.

Ray,

I'm thinking my summer amp will be the ARTsa Stereo amp. It's 50% of the heat. :P

All I know is that I've been trying to stop listening for three hours now. I can't stop. At the moment I'm listening to an old recording called Screen playing by Mark Knopfler. I've listened to this recording 100 times if I've listened once. I've owned it for nearly 20 years and I swear on my life I'm listening to it for the first time!

I know I sound like a CJ Shill, I swear I'm not. It just seems each note has more meat on its bones. Something like some of the harmonics or the notes components were missing before. Now the notes are fully developed and for the first time have all their intended parts and pieces.

I've gone through two episodes now where everything goes flat and dull, even though I expect these, they are very disconcerting. This is another reason I'm afraid to turn things off... Tomorrow I may be back In dullsville again!

Heaven help me, but yea, I'm afraid that's probably the only way to avoid a no- music summer.

Ray,

You are putting into words what I can not. I really don't know how CJ does it, but the ART amps with the GAT is absolutely stunning.

Ray, I know how feel about being a shill for something. I actually hold back on my opinion of my Salon 2's for that very reason. But it's hard not to talk a bout a piece of gear that's that good !!

If I had the money, the Gat/Art woul be on its way !

Glad you're so happy. :woot:

Ray,

I am going to have to hear a great system, yours :hi:

Thanks for using the word great in the same sentence with my setup, I still just think of what I have as something that pleases me and probably only me. It's great to me, but others I always assume would consider it many things before "great" :)

These past few weeks I have learned that whatever I hook up my GAT/ART to becomes great, superb and stunning even! I've always loved panel speakers and I know the 20.7's with the GAT/ART have to sound insane.
