Taves

Nevermind, I'm an idiot.

Hard to put my Magico fanboi to the side, but I thought Mark's room was the best sounding room of the show! Tenor is a great match for Magico. I'm surprised not to see/hear about the combo more often.

The Kharma room was also nice, great soundstaging. But they definitely had room issues and boomy base. Many rooms had challenges in fact.

Tidal Audio Piano G2 Loudspeakers - $ 180,000 CAD
Tidal Absoluta Monoblocks - $ 200,000 CAD
Tidal Presencio Phono & Line Stage Preamp - $ 92,000 CAD

Look stunning but for me the speakers was placed way too far each other. I hear them as two mono speakers.

I always like the sounds of Gershman Acoustics speakers. very compact but very powerful sounds with tons of bass. Thanks to the bass module bottom part.

Thanks Allen and Paul.

The room was a bit of challenge like most shows, as Aleks (geekyaleks) said we got a handle on things as the weekend progressed. Friday was a tough day dealing with our over damped room, and me getting sick on Wednesday didn't help. Anyways we sorted things out and Sunday was just awesome, half way throughout Saturday was pretty darn good too!

One thing I think nobody noticed, cause there was was nothing to notice! The Tenor Phono1 is the quietest phono-stage on earth. Kronos/ZYX/Tenor was magical, absolute digital silence with analog beauty.

For a change the Canadian PC Mark was not so PC on this post!

Thanks again to Allen and Paul for all their help at the show.

Wow! I would have loved to listen to that table. 16" arm and almost 100lbs. Serious business :)

Great to see CH has made it's way to a show in Canada. Florian Cossy, one of the lead gurus behind CH, was in Toronto for at least part of the show from what I heard. Those M1 amps are gorgeous but too powerful for my system and room. A pair of A1 amps would be perfect though :)

Thanks Allen and Paul.

Good to hear you had some fellow sharks helping out Mark.
Did you have the Garrard hooked up as well as the Kronos? That is a classic beauty of a table.
