Most all of those tech manufacturing were involved in the CHIPS Act. This was 100% not a Trump legislation.Instead of allowing you to deflect once again, let's take a look at what Tariffs have brought to America -

We were going paperless years ago. Paperless has proven to actually add to the printed paper usage since data implementation is of course going up. Every and all data that is "paperless" has a printed paper backup. I have been involved in many many of these projects. When was the last time you went to the doctors and they did not print out many pages (a lot more than they did 30 yeas ago)?To bring some levity —- I thought we are supposed to go paperless thus making printers obsolete.
The only one doing ink in the US, and the one not requiring new cartridges is Epson with their refillable ink tanks. These work fantastic by the way. I have had two. The first one I gave to my son when I bought a new wide format. It uses very little ink in comparison but I can fill a tank whenever I want from bottles made in Oregon. You know the price of ink is higher then gold? They do everything to use more ink, like cleanings every time before printing. But don’t worry HP has something new: the cartridges are not for sale anymore and delivered for a monthly fee. A kind of mobile phone business model, for something that is worth nothing: ink! And they do everything that another brand does not work.
It is crazy, it are companies like HP who make the citizens poor with their incredible high margins.
Hi Randy - would love to give credit to the chips act if that is true. Credit should go where it is due. Most all of those tech manufacturing were involved in the CHIPS Act. This was 100% not a Trump legislation.
A price I am willing to pay, for the greater good of America.
Tom
BS. I don't "hate" Trump, but he is a despicable person who is probably doing some irreparable harm to our country. Don't dismiss a poll simply because you don't like the result; look at the actual questions and the responses, and don't forget that only about 1/3 of registered voters voted for Trump.Correction - 51% of the people selected - through what ever criteria the polling company used - feel a certain way about any topic polled. It's usually only a few hundred or a couple of thousand people at most and is so easily manipulated that only a fool believes any poll about anything.
The election results when looking at the seven swing state sweep, popular vote tally, Electoral tally, and retaking of the Senate is statistically a much more valid number than the few hundred people some company decided to ask a question that you don't even know what the real question was or how phrased.
Just be honest you hate the man. That's your right. But don't hide behind a phony "poll".

We apparently have differing definitions of "hate"Ah the hate is flowing in your veins! Careful, you are going to turn into Darth Vader.....
Agreed. The most hate consumed people are always the first to claim they don't hate. Then they open their mouth and the truth comes out.We apparently have differing definitions of "hate"
Once again I'll say,As the saying goes - “there’s a pony in here somewhere”
I really don't know what you are talking about, but I can put forth a couple of opinions. What makes "America" (i.e., the USA) great is this country's leadership in science and technology (due in no small part to the results of research done by foreign-born scientists). How does vigorously cutting our research budget and making it unattractive for foreign "talent" (immigration policies) to relocate or even stay here for research improve or even continue that? Our health care treatment is among the best in the world, but our health outcomes are terrible despite spending far more per capita than any other country. This is largely due to practical lack of access to that system for 1/4-1/3 of the population, the ridiculous overhead of the private health insurance system (5x higher than Medicare, and due in large part to executive salaries), and the fact that the pharmaceutical industry spends more on advertising than R&D. For sure, cutting Medicaid's budget will help this problem (NOT!). Having the boss of HHS being someone with an extra hole in his brain doesn't help either.Agreed. The most hate consumed people are always the first to claim they don't hate. Then they open their mouth and the truth comes out.
It's plain for everyone else to see except those consumed who always delude themselves into thinking they are on a cause for the greater good.
Darth Vader was convinced he was right also.![]()
I'm sorry - as an adult I've learned not to engage those costumed with hate and delusion and instead just feel sympathy for them.I really don't know what you are talking about, but I can put forth a couple of opinions. This is far off the topic of tariffs, but if you want to discuss some other major faux pas of the last 4 months (or even Trump's previous term) we can do that as well. "Hate" has nothing to do with any of that.
I'm sorry - as an adult I've learned not to engage those costumed with hate and delusion and instead just feel sympathy for them.
Knowing that those with TDS are literally melting down non-stop every single day it's easy to just leave them alone as they are doing more to themselves than anything anyone else can say to them.
No need to engage them as they are literally incapable of not being consumed with the hate. Look at all the liberals burning Teslas, firebombing Tesla dealers and scratching swasticas into their paint of innocent car owners. Look at the people here calling him a Nazi. Look at all the liberals calling for the death of Jewish students in the universities. Look at the liberals in the universities taking over class rooms demanding the Jewish students identify themselves so they can be "made to answer" for being Jewish. Look at the billions in damage and people killed caused by the riots and takeover of Portland and Minneapolis.
There is a licensed Psychiatrist here in my neighborhood who actually named her daughter Hillary after you know who. We just found out she has literally had a mental breakdown due to her TDS. Scary that she is giving people mental medical advice.
I pray at night TDS sufferers can find a way to purge the hate that possess them as it's only burning up their soul like the acid their hate is.
My sympathies for you sir. I will pray for your health.
About as much as most of the other posts on this tread.hey 'Mikey', what the hell does that garble have to do with the implications of tariffs ????
