People are using original SGM 2015 servers after 7 years. They may have changed software (switched to Roon ROCK, Linux, Euphony OS, Win Server 2019 etc) but the hardware is still perfectly OK.
With the computing power Taiko has thrown in, it will probably be still ok for music playback in 15 years.
