TAD R1 incoming!

Would love to hear the Viva monos on the R1. If i'm happy with m2500 or my integrated then all is good and well.
m600 do seem the logical choice in the end though. :)

Hmmm....even the Triode TRX845M's could be the ticket.

Have you talked to Joe? He may have some tips. He had the CR1's.

Hmm thanks for the tip. Wouldn't of even known about the Triode option. What sort of rrp are they?

I haven't spoken to Joe but he has left some very useful info on this site. All of a sudden its very relevant to me.

I only got the word my speakers are in town tonight and up until now I have just been enjoying my current speakers. And figuring out how I can keep both sets haha

Congrats Bob! The floor standing R1's are more efficient than the CR1 stand mount speakers.

My most favorite amp on my TAD CR-1's was the Music Reference RM-200II-T. It was outstanding.

Thanks Joe :)

A recommendation that won't break the bank. Im intrigued, thank you!

CJ GAT. The ART monos was also superb on the CR-1's.

Which pre-amp did you match with the rm-200?
Thanks again!

Considering the calibre of electronics you have heard with the TAD that is a massive wrap for the rm200-t.
I appreciate you sharing

Yes it is, the ART monos were technically better on them. But, at the lower volume I play my system, the RM-200 was pretty ballsy and sweet. Once the volume increased, the ART monos showed why they are king.

Joe, how did you find the Dart/TAD combo? Please try not to be politically correct in your answer.:D

LOL. Joe was on his way to earning a Ph.D in "taming the TAD's". Not sure he completed his thesis though.

It was excellent, but a little polite and I wanted more meat on the bone.

I was not crazy about the Dart preamp and felt that the GAT and D'Agostino preamp was way better with the Dart amp. The Burmester 077 preamp with external power supply was superb.
