whats in there ..? Filters would mean xovers, are you saying those towers are where the xovers are housed, if so, Brilliant !

Wanna see magico and others top that ...

Yes, AMT tweets i believe. asiufy can update the group more since they are an Evo dealer- think its 50k + 20k for each xover tower, so 90k.

Yes, MSRP of the MMTwos is USD 50k, and the MMTwo EXACT is USD 89500.

We do have a pair of MMThree, which is the two + extra 15" per side, in our store. We're expecting the EXACT modules soon, so we'll be able to do AxBs :)

Fantastic speakers through and through... My favourite "wood" speaker.

External crossover? Check out the Living Voice OBX-RW.

http://youtu.be/wMZWwBTqjPU

You can see their external crossovers just behind the speakers.

:disbelief:

Outboard xovers are nothing new, it's the wardrobe size which is startling. How long before Alon and others offer a 50K outboard version, of course bigger the better, can hear the active guys already.

I have finally figured out the hi-end .... :)

Alex, which is your favorite non wood speaker ......... ?

a.wayne,

YG Acoustics, followed by Magico, depending on the associated electronics.

Of course, this is for box/cone speakers. Don't have enough experience with panels to have a firm preference...

Yeah, I'm in love with the xovers towers , i would make them plug in and light up, might as well go all out ....

I liked your Lampy-Salk room too; spent 45 minutes there.

Too bad Jtinn took a beating on another forum from a guy who only spent 10-15 seconds standing at the entrance to the room and declared it didn't sound like real music. Of course he didn't bother to disclose that he never really came into the room and sat down and listened to any music before doing his hatchet job on Jtinn.

WOW! Wow! WOW!

I Echo Gophers comments as me and him switched off in the sweet spot. Jonathan is really a class act and the sweetspot in this room hit it out of the park. My favorite in one of the biggest shows of the year.

I'm glad you were able to stop by and that the room was able to hold you captive for that long. I've followed your system for years and knowing your standards that is quite the compliment!:celebrate008_2:

I was very happy with the sound we achieved and I think the Lampi Lite 7 was given a successful debut. Wish I were in the room when you stopped by--would have been nice to meet in person.

to the degree you can hear what source gear is doing in an unfamiliar show system, I was impressed with what I heard with the Lampi Lite 7. I did have an agenda to get a taste of what all the Lampi buzz had been about.

thanks for the kind words and it's too bad we did not meet in person. next show hopefully.

as I mentioned in my writeup, the Lampi room was definitely engaging and dynamic. excellent work, Fred!

well, recorded vinyl to disc...

Which is different from analog tape to digital (like virtually all digital releases of originally analog recordings) but I'm not sure that is a significant difference :yahoo1: In any case it's not "analog planet"...
