My 610T's and 40th Anniversary pre want to welcome some of their relatives to Sarasota.

Very happy there is a dealer with a great reputation close by.

I look forward to coming down from Tampa to hear them.

Brad

Most interested in your considerations Mike when you have the opportunity to hook up a pair of S7 MKII's via< REF250se < REF10, I am already running the latter two and am being coerced into the former.

S7 mk2's?

I'm saving my pennies for REF250SE's and a REF3 phono and, and, and...

I've been running the REF6 with the Bryston 28SST3 on the S5mk2's to break things in and it sounds fabulous. The REF6 is so dynamic and lively with amazing bass, yet retains that wonderful tonality. I've more than once mumbled to myself, "my God this is a great preamp."

I adored my REF5SE, but this REF6 is better, no doubt about it.

Can't think who may be doing that

Mike, how's LS28?

Excellent. It's emotionally engaging but very neutral too. No coloration. Dynamic, punchy, great bass!!! It doesn't get that hot either. Four small tubes. Small footprint too. Love the new looks!

I really wish they'd do a smaller pair of monoblocks, though seems unlikely. 100 watt monos would be awesome!

That would be cool.

I'm wondering about a GS150 or a REF75 on the Avantgarde's. Hmmm....

Ref 75 would be plenty [emoji106]

Mike...any speaker combos working especially nicely with the ARC? I can't see the VT-80 driving the Magicos! You will definitely need at least GS150/Ref150SE but more likely Ref250SE to drive the Magicos, especially for low end heft and for full dynamics.

So far, the Audio Research sounds wonderful on Magico and KEF.

Everything I try with the REF6 is stellar! What a world class preamp. Me sooooooo happy.

Looks like the S5 Mk2's are enjoying some play time as well. :D

I listened for a good hour and then put the MIT USB and one set of MIT Evo IC's from the K-01x to the REF6 (doing an experiment). Damn, what a huge huge improvement with just those two cables! I will add the speaker cables and the rest on Wednesday after a little more burn in.
